To Nodar Kumaritashvili's Family

Two days ago, on February 12, 2010 , Olympic Luge athlete Nodar Kumaritashvili died in a tragic accident during Luge training at the age of 21. My condolences to his friends and family, my thoughts will be with them in the hopes of being able to cope with this young man's death. I am certain that he will be missed.

My Very First Blog Post. Yay <3

This is my very first blog post, so I guess I'll talk about today. I think I wanna talk about my history class, because that was pretty cool. My teacher had us go to the museum that's on campus where there was a really cool anchient Chinese and Japanese art exhibit. There was a beautifully done miniature terracotta horse (it was a bit bigger than the barbie horses)...it was maybe about a foot high, if not taller. I might go back some time on Monday if I can and get some pictures if they'll allow me. The Japanese tea set they had was beautifully done too. While I was looking around at the stuff, I got talking to some kids in my class about some of the pieces, and I ended up staying there for like...almost an hour talking about the different pieces. It was a lot of fun.

And for tonight I rented Batman, Hero, and Casablanca to watch this weekend, so this'll be a good movie weekend I think.
